SF Bikeventure 05.31.11

SF date with Jon. Started off with the pouring rain. Jon came over with the bikes on the bike rack and we moved them inside the car so they wouldn't get so wet. We got to the city to go to my dentist appointment, then we began our adventure. Started at Marina Green. Biked to Sport's Basement in Presidio. Then turned around and went past Fort Mason, to Fisherman's Warf where we had a clam chowder bowl. Then through Pier 39 along Embarcadero to the ferry building and Justin Herman Plaza. Rode a little ways to the Bow and Arrow, then to the ballpark. We later met up with Rey at his work. And rode back down the same way we came to Susie Cakes. So yum. Then met up with Jon's sister on Russian Hill and ate ZA pizza and Swenson's ice cream. Then drove all three of us back to East Bay. It was such a fun adventurous day! I want more days like this.

Yogurt Ride 05.29.11

After not feeling full from eating taco truck with Rey and Bri, we decided to ride to get frozen yogurt. Bri listed 7 different choices in Alameda! I didn't even know that there were that many. Rode to TuttiFrutti but it was too crowded. So we walked over to Yogofina. Then went to Rhonda's house to chill like the good ol' days. Was amazed at Rey's iPad2's handle. haha! Looks so delicate.

Mint Chocolate Christmas (MC^2) Is Done!

Finally finished my fixie late last night with the help of Jon, Rey, and Bri :) Pictures are pending. I'll take some soon and post them. (Actually I'm kinda just waiting for Rey to post them. kekez) After, we went on a night ride to the airport and then back. I really miss riding at night with a group of people. There were no cars on the road and we got back around 2:30am. It was really nice. My cooch was hurting while I was riding! I had my mustache handlebars flipped down so I was leaning WAY too far forward. Basically I was in the sprint position the whole time. And my back was killing me.

This morning Jon, Garrett, and I went on a morning ride to meet my parents at a local coffee shop and Safeway. We flipped my bars up and it felt so much more comfortable. Then we continued to ride around Bay Farm down the shoreline. It was such a nice ride and great weather! I can't wait to ride again.

Jon's Bday Ride & Apple Pan

For Jon's quarter century birthday, he wanted to ride bikes in LA and eat Apple Pan. We were going to hop on trains, the seven of us, but the train didn't fit that many bikes so off we drove to Union Station. We rode our bikes primarily down Pico Blvd, up and down its hills until we finally reached Apple Pan 12.5 miles later. It felt so good to reach our destination because most of us hadn't eaten anything prior to the ride. Ate delicious burgers and rode back to Union Station. It was such a fun day :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JON! :)
