Left for a weekend in Tahoe! I rented a

The boy first wanted a root beer float from Foster's Freeze so we got that before we actually hit the road. I've never been to Tahoe in the summer time; I've always gone in the winter for snowboarding. The first glimpse of the lake was GORGEOUS! You just have to see this place for yourself! It's so grandiose. Got to
Camp Richardson at 8pm and immediately started to pitch the tents, despite our hunger. Once we got settled in, we made dinner (
ate devoured them before I had a chance to take a photo) and ate dessert (s'mores --
campfire giant roasters marshmallows which are HELLA big). We brought a variety pack of
Shocktop from Costco and I was really excited to try the
honeycrisp apple wheat. Super good!!!! Tastes like less intense apple sidra. Since I cooked dinner, the boys helped by washing the dishes :) The rest of the crew arrived around midnight. A day of paddleboarding, chilling, and hiking ahead of us! More posts to come!! Stay tuned!
