Eating Our Way Up The Coast 06.18.12

As the title says, my man (no longer "the boy") and I drove up the coast. Stopped by a whole bunch of eateries and made it through the windy roads of Big Sur through the fog. We were able to catch a glimpse of the sunset as we exited Big Sur. Although the drive takes FOREVER, I highly recommend it; it's gorgeous!

Here are the stops we made
1. Chic-fil-a in Santa Ana (only pic taken w iPhone) KIDS MEAL
2. Freebirds in Isla Vista STEAK NACHOS
3. Splash Cafe in Pismo Beach CLAM CHOWDER W CRAB AND SHRIMP TOPPING
4. Bubble Gum Alley in San Luis Obispo WE WERE GOING TO PUT A PIECE OF GUM ON THE WALL BUT DIDNT WANT TO TOUCH IT AFTER SEEING IT

Very expensive gas in Cambria. Decided to get gas just in case because there aren't that many gas stations around.

We thought this bridge was Bixby. It's not.

It was very foggy driving through Big Sur.

2012 AMGEN Tour of California, Stage 1

For Mother's Day, we went on a family "road trip" to Santa Rosa to watch and join the festivities of the 2012 AMGEN Tour of California, Stage 1 road cycling race. There were SO MANY bikes, goodies, freebies, tshirts, and people. I don't know the names of the cyclists I shot but maybe you do. Enjoy, my fellow cyclists :)

SF + Chrome Store 03.02.12

Sorry blogosphere, I've been busy with grad school interviews and my online class. Lots of stuff going on. I'll be posting photos from past events :P

Took BART and rode SF. Met up with some friends, old and new, at Farmerbrown's Little Skillet. Then headed to the Chrome store.

Thanks everybody for the congratulations! I'm still in shock and disbelief. Is this really happening? It's been a long time coming and a journey in and of itself. The application process is brutal!
