Circle Scarf
I FINALLY finished my circle scarf! I've been working on this on and off since New Years 2011. It's been a long time coming. I didn't think I'd finish by the end of winter. And when I eventually would finish it, I'd have to wait until the next cold season to wear it. BUT....... it's forecasted to rain tonight through tomorrow and it's going to be cold. So, I get to wear it :) YAY!

milk + honey
I'm being a hipster spending time at an earthy cafe called milk + honey. Ordered a lavender latte. It's really good. Also ordered their green tea deluxe shaved ice but devoured it before taking a picture. It's a nice place to study and enjoy nature and coffee

trying to be college kids again
Went out with some friends Thursday night. Not out out like how college kids do but stayed out late considering I have a 10-hr work day starting at 7:30am Friday morning. Started eating at California Fish Grill, and then we headed to Newport Pier to eat at Seaside Bakery. Got home around 12:15am.

Céline Pochette or Something Like That
I'm officially obsessed with this Céline pochette. It's kind of like a large clutch carryall. Browsing a lot of fashion week streetwear photos from Milan, Paris, New York, I just kept seeing this sweet thing pop up. I really want one. I'm waiting for h&m or F21 to come up with their own cheaper version. In the mean time, I've only found aa lookalikes. Should I buy one?

This is the aa version

Surprise Encouragement
Right now, this very instant, my brother is sharing a praise report with me about a girl who's in his Bible study group that he leads.
Let me tell you some background. When I was in college and in Miles Militis core, my prayer request was for my family especially my brother. I never knew where he stood spiritually; and I guess I just always doubted that he stopped believing once he entered college. I don't really know why I thought that. But starting his third year at UCSC, he told me that he's on core for UCSC AACF and I was shocked. I didn't even see it coming. But when I heard the news, I was really happy. Even so, we never really shared about our spiritual lives with each other or anything like that. He just knew that I go to church on Sundays, was apart of core, etc. And all I knew about him was that he was on core for AACF. Every once in a while I'd visit UCSC AACF's tumblr page because I get their Facebook messages and I'd see entries by my brother. They're all so encouraging to know that he's been reading the Word and what he's getting from it.
So today, he IMs me out of no where and starts sharing with me a praise report about this girl who started coming to the Bible study he leads and how she didn't even know how to look up verses in the Bible. She didn't own a Bible so my brother and the other core member he leads with bought her a NIV study Bible - the super heavy, hardcover one. It's now almost the end of their school year and she shared a verse that she found on her own.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
My brother was just so amazed at how someone can go from not knowing how to read the Bible to accepting Christ. I still can't believe that he just straight up shared with me. I am in such a good mood right now. God is good.

Hurley Warehouse Sale
Just came back from the Hurley warehouse sale!! My plan was to stock up on bikinis. Have you felt the women's phantom kini?? SUPER SOFT! I really wanted some. But their choices of bikinis was way disappointing. Just three boxes out of 200 boxes of other things amongst the sale. And all of them were bottoms. And there were only 5 different designs. sigh. Oh well because I found other great things!!! I didn't take any pictures myself but I looked up the items online. I also bought boardshorts for some boys but I'm not going to bother looking those up. In total I spent a little less than $200 and $100 worth weren't even for me. I think I did pretty good considering other warehouse sales I've been to. I usually look at the original price and think of how much I am saving and buy it because of that. This time I only bought what I really wanted. :)
I like how the buttons are on the back
It's kinda funny how I'm into back detail, yet my hair is getting longer....covering the back detail
this jacket was only $25!! score!
in love with this sweatshirt. wearing it now. diggin the hidden pocket
